Bacteriophages: nature's answer to antibiotic resistance
As standard chemical antibiotics become less effective at treating bacterial infections, we require targeted biological alternatives. Bacteriophages infect and destroy only specific pathogenic bacteria, leaving human cells and the protective microbiome untouched. By isolating, characterizing, and biobanking phages, our open collection provides a critical therapeutic resource in the global fight against antimicrobial resistance.
